Ronald Homsy is a successful serial entrepreneur and business consultant in the hospitality, Leisure, travel and travel technology sectors.
Ronald is the Managing Director of Scopum Et Finem Ltd, an advisory and consulting firm offering tailored solutions to hospitality, travel, leisure, and travel technology companies. As COO, Ronald has founded Pinktada, a primary and secondary market for hotel rooms, architected on tokenization.
Prior to that and as CEO, Ronald co-founded Utopian Hotel Collection, a hotel brand and consortia platform. He led the teams that designed and architected the consortia technology platformncomprising 45 luxury properties in Europe. For this, he productively raised a total of $4MM at a valuation of $11MM.
In his earlier career, Ronald founded and led Forte Holding, an international, multi-unit, 800 employee-strong, hospitality management and consulting holding company, where he held the position of CEO for 15 years. During this time, he profitably conceptualized, developed and managed a multitude of hospitality brands and venues in the EMEA region to reach a $70MM yearly turnover. To allow for the sustained business growth, Ronald co-orchestrated the set-up of Dream, a $20MM private equity fund, which was pivotal in the acquisition of Idarat, an established and large food & beverage company in the Middle East. Previously, Ronald was a sales manager with Accor Hotels in the UAE.
Ronald Homsy has a BS in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Les Roches Crans-Montana. Ronald currently holds a prominent position as Vice President of the Alumni Association of Glion.
